A cult object of design, the Pipistrello lamp was created by Gae Aulenti in 1965. With its lampshade to the waving forms, this lamp looks like a bat, which means pipistrello in Italian. This is a table lamp or a floor lamp with light shade in white frosted glass and the base varnished aluminium.
Mythical and exposed in the biggest museums of the entire world, Pipistrello is part of these objects that constitute our universal heritage and has become one of the classic icons of 20th Century Design.
